Ouch!!!

It has been a long interesting week. On Tuesday night I was getting the kids in the truck to head home. I was carrying Carson and trying to get him in the back seat of the truck, I reached across the back of the truck to pull out the other (pop out) seat in the back. I couldn't quit reach the seat to pull it down so I twisted my hips slightly to reach further. As I twisted I thought my leg would twist with my body but I had too much pressure on my foot and my knee took all the tweaking. It popped 4 or 5 times and was extremely painful I immediately fell to try and sit as Christina caught me! I sat there and cried for awhile as I tried to figure out what I had just done. By the time I got home my knee was all swollen and hurt really bad, i knew there was something wrong so I got an appointment with a Orthopedic Specialist the next day and the doctor said he thought I either tore my Meniscus or my A.C.L. and I have Locked Knee, and that it needs surgery! Well I went into surgery Friday at 3:00pm and didn't get out till 9:00pm that night! The surgery went well although the outcome was not what we thought it would be. I dislocated my knee and all the popping was the breaking of my Femur bone! I broke off a piece of my Femur and the piece got lodged in my joint under my knee cap which made it impossible to bend my knee! The Doctor removed the piece of bone and Sanded down the rough end of the Femur bone so that I can walk normal on it again! He also relocated it back into place! The great news is that I only have to stay off it for 7 to 10 days and then I start walking and bending it back slowly till I have full range of motion back! This would be the greatest adventure going on for me right now. Also last night and this morning was the Brenden Murton Big Event in Sandy and believe it or not I went and it was absolutely amazing, wouldn't have missed it for all the pain in the world! I will have pictures posted here shortly so keep an eye out!

I also just want to thank everyone that has been there to help out with this obstacle in our lives, especially My Heavenly Father! Thank You!!! My wonderful husband Jake, Ashley & Mike, Andrea, Melanie & Aaron, Mom & Dad, Aaron, Bishop Payne & his wife, VaNika and Valorie, Tiffany, Christina & Brianna, and my 2 little boys who always want to help with everything :)!!! I am the luckiest person in the world to have such amazing people in my life, don't know what I would do without you!!! Thanks again guys ;)

We took some Buses and Cable Cars to get there and it was amazing how much the tempature dropped while you were on the bridge! Some people told us that because of how close you are to the water and how the wind blows right through there it is always cold and windy on the Bridge!

San Francisco Trip

There are so many exciting things that have happened this year, but probably the most exciting would be the trip to San Francisco, in August, that we earned with Primerica. We had been to San Fran before with KFC but this was completely different, and absolutely amazing. Before we left I thought at times "it is just San Francisco" Well I was completely blown away. I don't know how else to explain it! OMG I can't wait for Atlantis, got to get to work!
I have some pictures of the trip that I thought I would share.

Jake and I standing in front of the "Tourist" China Town!

This is Jon, Amanda, Steve(the dork! Jake and him get along too well! He! He!), and Jake in the picture. A bunch more of us walked to China Town from the Hilton and had a blast checking out all the different cultures all I can say is what a crazy place. If you have been there you know what I am talking about! The Tourist China Town is probably 10 to 15 blocks long and we found that if you turn off that stretch you get into the "Real" China Town. We were shocked how many Chinese people we saw, the sidewalks were literally jam packed with people and for the the whole hour we hung out there I didn't see one Caucasian person (I am not joking). We stopped on a street where there were Semi trucks lined on the street unloading live fish! They were dumping the fish from the tops of the semi trucks to the ground in these bins, people walking by were getting wet with fish water and acted like it was nothing, Yuck!!! They took the live fish into the shops and cut them up right in front of you gutting them and everything. It was absolutely cool but disgusting at the same time! I tried to overcome the smell but my stomach couldn't handle it and on the way back to the hotel I had to through-up! I felt so stupid cause all the people on the street were watching me, I felt way better when I was done though! :) Awesome experience!!! He! He!

Now the trickiest part to the whole thing is keeping up with it, and with how busy it has been lately that will be interesting! :)

Bronson and Carson

Bronson just turned 5 on November 17th and acts like he is 20! He is the most out going child, he loves to talk! He loves the new Transformer Movie and Bumble Bee is his favorite! He loves preschool with Mom at home and always tells me how excited he is to start Kindergarten next year. He will be attending C.S. Lewis Academy, a K12 school, Jake and I couldn't be happier for all the wonderful opportunities that he will have at this school!
Carson is 2 1/2 years old and full of creativity. He is at that age where everything is cool and he always comes up with something funny to say or do at just the right time! He loves to do everything his brother does and can't wait to be "giant" like his dad! ever since Bronson's Birthday Carson thinks he is 5, and if you try to tell him other wise you will get terror! They both love to play together and wrestle until they are sick of eachother.
